Petersfield Neighbourhood Office reports: On Wednesday 29th April 2020 Hampshire Constabulary will provide members of the public with the option to report incidents of anti-social behaviour online via the force website. This builds on the existing user-friendly functionality to report crime online which we have seen the public make good use of. Since our online reporting platform went live in July 2018, evidence has shown that online contact has largely replaced traditional contact via telephone and has not made a significant impact on overall demand. This functionality has always been part of the development plan for method of contact and this work has been brought forward as part of our response to COVID19. All reports will be assessed promptly on receipt to ensure there is no immediate threat, risk or harm. Online reporting is an enabler for our Contact Management Team to manage demand more effectively, it will not change how reports of ASB are managed by frontline staff or how this information is shared with partners.
